Refunds & Cancellations

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING.

All workshops and events at It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio are planned, staffed, and prepared in advance for a specific date and time. Because of this, all tickets are non-refundable for change of mind or personal circumstances.

CHANGE OF MIND OR PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Tickets are non-refundable if you:

Change your mind
Can no longer attend
Double-book yourself
Are unwell
Experience personal or work-related conflicts

This applies to all public workshops, private events, and touring sessions.

TICKET TRANSFERS

If you can’t attend, you may:

Transfer or resell your ticket to someone else
Transfer tickets with no name change fees

It is the original ticket holder’s responsibility to:

Arrange the ticket transfer
Notify us of the new attendee’s full name prior to the event
Only transferable within the same event

FORCE MAJEURE OR EVENT CANCELLATIONS

If a workshop is cancelled by us due to circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather or venue issues, a full refund or transfer option will be offered.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our refund policy complies with Australian Consumer Law for leisure activities scheduled for a specific date or period. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

General Terms

By booking and attending a workshop or event with It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

PARTICIPATION & RESPONSIBILITY
All participants attend and participate at their own risk. While every effort is made to provide a safe, supportive, and well-guided environment, participants are responsible for following all instructions provided by staff and using tools and equipment as demonstrated.

SAFETY & EQUIPMENT USE
Workshops involve the use of heated tools and creative equipment. Safety instructions and demonstrations are provided at the beginning of each session and must be followed at all times. It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any attendee who does not comply with safety guidelines.

AGE & SUPERVISION
Some workshops may have age restrictions or require adult supervision. It is the responsibility of the booking party to ensure all attendees meet the suitability requirements outlined for each event. Please contact us if you are unsure of age restriction before booking.

VENUES & TOURING EVENTS
Workshops may be held at our Cairns HQ, partner venues, or mobile locations as part of our national tour. Venue details, layouts, or locations may change due to availability or circumstances outside our control. Any changes will be communicated as early as possible.

PRIVATE EVENTS & GROUP BOOKINGS
Private events are subject to availability and minimum spend requirements. Final numbers, event details, and locations must be confirmed prior to the event date.

EVENT CHANGES BY US
It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio reserves the right to reschedule, relocate, or cancel an event if required due to unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, suitable transfer or refund options will be provided.

WEBSITE & BOOKING INFORMATION
While we make every effort to ensure all information on our website is accurate and up to date, details may change. The most current and confirmed information will always be provided via booking confirmation emails.

Safety Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By booking and attending a workshop or event with It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio, you acknowledge and accept that participation involves the use of tools, equipment, and materials that carry inherent risks.

All participants agree to:

Follow all safety instructions and demonstrations provided by staff
Use tools and equipment only as directed
Take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others

By proceeding with a booking, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio, its staff, contractors, venues, and partners from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where required by law.

If you have any medical conditions, physical limitations, or concerns that may affect your ability to safely participate, it is your responsibility to notify our team prior to the event.

Participation in any workshop constitutes acceptance of this safety waiver.

Accessibility & Special Requirements

We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.

If you have accessibility needs, medical considerations, or require reasonable adjustments to participate comfortably, please contact us prior to booking or as early as possible.

As our workshops frequently sell out and many events are held in touring or partner venues, advance notice is essential. This allows us to confirm suitability, capacity, and whether reasonable accommodations can be made.

If you require a carer or support person to attend with you, this must be discussed and approved in advance. Carers or support persons may attend to assist only and are not included as participants unless a ticket is purchased.

Accessibility and accommodation options can vary depending on venue, location, and event format. It is the responsibility of the attendee to notify us of any special requirements in advance so we can assess availability and options.

Attendance Policy

For safety, capacity, and experience reasons, only ticketed participants may attend workshops.

This means:

No children
No partners, friends, or observers
No spectators or non-participating guests

All attendees must hold a valid ticket and be registered for the session. This ensures a safe, focused, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Social Media & Content Use

Photos and videos may be taken during workshops and events for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. This content may be used across our website, social platforms, email marketing, and advertising materials.

By attending a workshop or event with It’s Just a Vibe Creative Studio, you consent to the use of images or video in which you may appear for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, it is the responsibility of the attendee to notify our team prior to the event or on arrival.
